Economy: Belgium is the world's 15th biggest trading nation in 2007. It works with the rest of European countries in the transport infrastructure industry closely.

Belgium mainly imports foodstuffs, chemicals,transportation equipment, raw materials, machinery and equipment, raw diamonds, pharmaceuticals,and oil products. The main exports are metals, chemicals and metal products, machinery and equipment and finished diamonds.
